REVIEW : HOUSE OF FREEDA, OWERRI.

We just finished our Medical board exam and decided to relieve some of the stress associated with these kind of exams. We fixed a date to go rock O-town. We started asking around for beautiful places to see in Owerri. One of my friends suggested we add House of Freeda to the places we were going to see. On the D-day, we set out to have what later became the most fun for a person to have in a single day.

LOCATION: House of Freeda is a big mall located along MCC Road,Owerri Imo State. It is definitely not a place to get lost looking for. It stands out for itself along the road. Locating it was super-easy and not stressful as we hired a vehicle for the day.

PARKING: There is parking for about 15 cars but  Street parking is not available as this mall is located along the highway. Your car is also safe because there are about 3-4 armed security men at the car park.

AMBIANCE:  The place has good lightening which is perfect for taking pictures. It has generally good decoration and definitely looks classy. It is ideal for a romantic getaway or just an outing with friends or family.

SERVICES: House of Freeda houses a lot of other shops like Ryan and Rusell, Gamezone, Laura Spa, Vintage Cuts, UL clothing, Peek-a-boo  for children. They also have a restaurant attached to it where you can enjoy a lot of delicacies.

FOOD: We didn't eat at the restaurant in House of Freeda because we had already eaten at Kilimanjaro at Ikenegbu Layout. But from the aroma we perceived when we walked into the compound, it is safe to say that the food would be amazing.

GAMEZONE: This was the sweetest part of the trip to Owerri. On entering the Gamezone shop, you meet the reception area where you pay to get coins for the games. There were pictures of sports and sporting events on the wall around the reception area. Then when you enter the arena properly, there are assorted games you can play. They have Bike racing, Motor Racing, Terminator shoot and kill, Basketball, Boxing, Monopoly, Dash and win, Pool, and a whole other lot.The staff of Gamezone are very nice especially the fair lady at the reception. They even gave us a bonus.

PRICING: It is wise to say one needs to be boxed up before visiting House of Freeda because everything here is classy and as such expensive. Clothing go as expensive as #13,000 for a piece. The Gamezone section is considerable. They have an option of buying 10 coins for #2000. With the 10 coins you can play 5 different games. Other sections are quite expensive too. There is an option of paying cash or with POS.

RATING: I rate House of Freeda 7.5/10. I would have rated them 10/10 but the pricing is too high for my poor self. It would have been my everyday spot if things were cheaper. I would definitely love to visit it again and this time around shop there.
